COSTA sandwich panels are manufactured in a continuous line process through the profiling of two steel sheets joint together by injecting a high density and top quality "Water base" polyurethane foam, CFC free from our partners Dow Chemical and steel supliers Arcelor and Myriad (Tata).

This "Water base" polyurethane foam together with the use of two high quality rubbers in between the steels of top and bottom of the panel, provides a "Thermal bridge" preventing the transmition of heat and cold as well as accoustic, offering the best and innovative quality solution for sectional doors.

A laboratory proveen test of 43,3 kg/m³  by our partner Dow Chemical, guarantees the confidence of our clients in our panels, securing excellent results of flatness, rigidity, adherance, tremendous strength, and an extremelly compact quality panel.

COSTA panels characteristics are superior compared to 90% of all the rest of insulated panels in the sectional garage door market, which are made by a product called PENTANE (which their properties are similar to those of butane and hexane), this gas it's used normally in other sectors like roof and wall panels, with the purpose to lower the price cost of the panel reducing the density and of course the quality.

Our residential fingersafe insulated panels are porpusly designed ensuring protection against finger jamming, which conforms to requirements of European safety standards (EN 12604).

For the suitable door instalation in our residential panels, a gap is made in the top superior on the back of the panel to avoid any possible problems of hinge positioning.

A plastic film is affixed on the two sides of the panel, avoiding any possible damage during handling and the end use of it, this plastic film is easily remove after door installation.

All our panels are marked with a tracking data details printed in the interior tail of the panel next to the rubber.

Number of order, type, quantity of panels, lenght, width, date of manufacture and the RAL color or PVC finished of the panel is affixed on each package.

We use a polystyrene block system packaging and our packets of panels are wrapped with polithene film.
